The idea for MedicSignal, my latest venture, was born out of personal concern. With family scattered across Australia, I often found myself worrying about their well-being, particularly as the years passed and the challenges of aging came into play. Distance made it difficult to stay in constant contact, and the uncertainty of their health weighed heavily on my mind.

It was from this place of quiet concern that MedicSignal emerged. I envisioned a simple, wearable device that could provide peace of mind, not just for me, but for families everywhere. A device that would allow loved ones to say, “I’m here, I’m alright,” with a simple touch of a button.

The concept wasn’t born in the clamor of boardrooms or the pressure of market trends. Instead, it came from a place of deep empathy and a desire to make a positive impact on people’s lives. It was a solution driven by a personal need, and it’s that same human-centered approach that guides my work today.

My background in mechanical engineering has provided me with a solid foundation for innovation and problem-solving. I’ve always enjoyed taking apart gadgets to understand how they work, and this curiosity has fueled my entrepreneurial spirit.

Prior to MedicSignal, I founded Webbyword.com, a web-based tool for creating interactive online presentations. This venture taught me the importance of understanding user needs and translating those insights into effective product design.

In my spare time, I’m an avid writer and sailor. Writing allows me to explore my thoughts and ideas, while sailing provides a sense of freedom and connection to nature. Both pursuits complement my work in technology, as they encourage creativity, problem-solving, and a deep appreciation for the human experience.
